La risoluzione 2249 (2015) sullo Stato Islamico (nella terminologia consigliare «Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as Da’esh)»), adottata dal Consiglio di sicurezza unanime il 20 novembre 2015, non incide sulla realtà, ma ha almeno il pregio di descriverla.
